Dāvangere is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is situated on the Deccan Plateau in the south-western part of the state, about 250 km (155 mi) northwest of Bangalore. The city is known for its educational institutions, industrial units, and agricultural market. It is also a major center for trade and commerce.
