Pensacola is a city in the U.S. state of Florida, located on the Pensacola Bay, on the Gulf Coast. It is the westernmost city in the Florida Panhandle, and is part of the larger Pensacola-Ferry Pass-Brent Metropolitan Statistical Area. The climate of Pensacola is subtropical, with mild and humid winters and hot, humid summers. The average summer high temperatures are in the mid-80s Fahrenheit (29–32°C) and average winter lows are in the mid-40s Fahrenheit (7–8°C). The average precipitation is around 51 inches per year, with most of it falling in the summer months.
