Ocean Pines is a census-designated place located in the state of Maryland, in the United States. It is located along the Atlantic coast of the Delmarva Peninsula, and is just south of Ocean City. The climate in Ocean Pines is considered to be humid subtropical, with mild winters and hot, humid summers. Average temperatures in the winter range from mid-40s to mid-50s degrees Fahrenheit and in the summer range from mid-70s to mid-80s degrees Fahrenheit. Precipitation is fairly evenly distributed throughout the year, with an average of about 43 inches annually.
