Paulden is a small town in Yavapai County, Arizona, United States, located approximately 25 miles northwest of Prescott. The town is situated in a high desert valley at an elevation of 5,096 feet, surrounded by rolling hills. Paulden has a mild, semi-arid climate with hot summers and cool winters. Summers are generally dry and sunny with temperatures reaching into the 90s and 100s. Winters are generally mild with temperatures averaging in the 40s and 50s.
