Havant District is a local government district located in the south east of England, in the county of Hampshire. The district is bordered by the city of Portsmouth to the west, and the districts of East Hampshire and Chichester to the north, the city of Southampton to the east, and the English Channel to the south. The climate in Havant District is generally mild with temperatures rarely falling below freezing in the winter and rarely exceeding 30°C in the summer.
