Big Bend Weather Today

Big Bend is a national park in the US state of Texas, situated along the Rio Grande River. The park provides stunning views of the Chihuahuan Desert, as well as diverse terrain ranging from tall mountains to deep canyons. The climate in Big Bend is quite varied, due to the diverse terrain. In the high elevations of the Chisos Mountains, temperatures can drop to below freezing in the winter, and the area receives occasional snowfall. The low elevations of the Chihuahuan Desert, however, experience hot, dry summers and mild winters. The average temperature year-round is between 50 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
