Weather in Merced

Merced is a city in the San Joaquin Valley of Central California in the United States. It is located near Yosemite National Park and is the county seat of Merced County. Merced has a Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and wet, mild winters. The average temperatures vary from the mid-50s in winter to the mid-90s in summer. The climate is generally dry, with very little precipitation occurring throughout the year, and occasional thunderstorms in the spring and summer months. The average yearly precipitation is around 10 inches.
