Craven District is a local government district of North Yorkshire, England. The district is named after the historic Craven area, which is in the south-east of the district. It borders the City of Bradford, the City of York, Harrogate District, Ryedale District, the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and Lancashire. The district is largely rural, with the highest point being Pen-y-ghent at 694 metres.
