Weather in Grand Canyon Village

Grand Canyon Village is a census-designated place located in Coconino County, Arizona, in the United States. It is located on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, and is the primary tourist center for the entire canyon. The village consists of a number of lodges, restaurants, shops, and other tourist attractions. The climate in Grand Canyon Village is semi-arid desert, with hot summers and cold winters. Average temperatures range from a low of 20°F (-7°C) in January to a high of 88°F (31°C) in July. Precipitation averages about 16 inches (406 mm) per year, with most of it occurring during the summer months. Snowfall can occur in the winter months, but it is usually light.
