Weather in South Yuba City

South Yuba City is a small town in Sutter County, California, United States. It is located in the Sierra Foothills, just east of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. The town is situated at the southern end of the Yuba River, which is known for its recreational activities such as fishing, swimming, kayaking and tubing. The climate in South Yuba City is warm and dry most of the year, with temperatures typically ranging from the mid-50s to the mid-80s during the summer months. During the winter months, temperatures generally range from the mid-30s to low 50s. The area receives less than 18 inches of rainfall per year, making it fairly dry. Snow is uncommon in the area.
